Overview
What is NMRDA SWCS?
The NMRDA Single Window Clearance System (SWCS) is the authorised digital platform established by the Nagpur Metropolitan Region Development Authority (NMRDA) to facilitate all regulatory clearances required by businesses operating within the Naveen Nagpur International Business and Finance Centre (IBFC).
Mandated under the Maharashtra Industry, Trade and Investment Facilitation Act (MAITRI Act), 2021, the system brings together 12+ government departments under a single digital interface — eliminating the need for applicants to approach each department separately for approvals, NOCs, and licences.
The platform assigns every registered entity a Single Business ID (SBID) that serves as a universal identifier across all departments, and is supported by empanelled Company Secretaries who guide investors through the entire registration and approval journey.
